Shannon is the Event Coordinator for the Sacramento, Roseville and Elk Grove, California Just Between Friends Events. She has enjoyed 25 years with her husband and they have been blessed with six wonderful children. Some of her interests include activities with the family, scrapbooking, camping, boating, hiking, reading and a watching a good movie (with popcorn).
Shannon saw the opportunity in JBF to help the community, her family, and the less fortunate. Growing families need all the help they can get today with the high cost of living and JBF offers some nice support in this area.
The JBF events help the less fortunate through donations to the Sacramento Food Bank Family Services Mother-Baby Program (www.sfbs.org).
Spring, 2012 will mark the beginning of Just Between Friends' tenth year in Sacramento. It has grown from 34 participating consignors to over 500 and is anticipated to grow to 1,000 plus consignors within the next 3 to 4 years.
The generosity of Shannon's friend Gayle to share this business opportunity with her has produced one of Sacramento's most popular and beneficial seasonal events.
"First, I want to thank you for make this possible. I was really surprised with the money I got from my first sale, the fall sale at the Convention Center and I was like WOW !!! with the 2nd sale at Roseville. I can't wait until the spring. I hope we can keep the same tags into next year. And to think for the last 3-4 years I have been dealing with peoiple trying to get your things for almost nothing. I have made almost as much money in the 2 sales of baby clothes than I have made in all those years of clothes and household items combined."
